Displaying your role in the live chat

With Slaask, you can directly display your job position in your live chat if you'd like. You can either enable this feature for everybody on your team, disable it for everybody, or let everyone define their own job title.

Why should I display my role on live chat?

Since the purpose of Slaask is for your team to chat with your contacts, showing your team member’s job position can help your contacts know who is helping them, and what your team member’s specialty is. Thus, it will provide a more efficient interaction between your team member and your contacts.

In addition, as Slaask is a truly collaborative customer communication app, job titles are great for your contacts to better understand the conversation.

How to define my job position on Slack:

1. Go to Slack.

2. Click on your avatar in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Click Edit profile.

4. Enter your role in the corresponding field.
